“It was unlike any other projects I’ve planned throughout my career, not just because of the location, the planning process, the concepts,… things that I talk about in my daily life as a wedding planner… But because it was ours. The ceremony wasn’t me crying as the couple read their vows, it was us crying as we renewed our 10-year-old vows. The reception wasn’t us crafting an experience for our couple and their guests, it was us dancing and singing with our most beloved ones: our families and friends.”
In 2024, The Planners reached a memorable milestone – for the very first time, our team organized a project outside the borders of Vietnam. What made it even more meaningful to us is that this event was the vow renewal on the 10th wedding anniversary of Ms. Van Nguyen, The Planners founder and her husband, anh Linh in Tuscany, Italy.
Since their honeymoon trip to Tuscany 10 years ago, Van and Linh has dreamed of celebrating their 10th year milestone in the picturesque scenery there.
As wedding planners, we understand that the wedding is only the beginning of a life-long story and there is a variety of events throughout marriage that couples can celebrate. Therefore, this was a significant event as Van and Linh got to reflect on their marriage journey and spent the greatest time with their most beloved ones.
10 years after their wedding, Van and Linh’s vow renewal was joined by their baby girl, who shined as a star of the anniversary. The image of Bisou’s family under the Tuscan mellow sunset will forever be imprinted on our minds. Instead of a traditional flower arch, the couple opted for a central bench at the altar, symbolizing a warm and intimate gathering where they could express their gratitude to their families and friends.
“Our BeLoVed Sun” was a meticulously curated experience — not only in its aesthetics, but in every moment that unfolded. Every element, from the program to the smallest detail, was thoughtfully designed to elevate the guests’ experience while staying true to its heart: celebrating Van and Linh’s 10-year marriage anniversary.
Over the course of the celebration, guests were immersed in a journey that began with a warm welcome day, continued with an emotional main event, and concluded with a serene day of exploration around the venue. Throughout it all, every part of Van and Linh’s story – and the beautiful connections they share with their loved ones – was woven seamlessly into the experience.
Besides being an unforgettable memory for Van and Linh’s family, “Under our BeLoVed sun” is our first overseas project and will be the threshold of a new stage for destination weddings by The Planners.
