Two free and adventurous spirits, a love story that has overcome various challenges where the couple emotionally mature together in life – these are the source of inspiration for the “Greatest Eclipse” concept for Linh and Hiếu’s wedding in Yen Tu.

Linh and Hiếu are a couple who were articulate about styling – from costumes, makeup and hair, to accessories and stationery shots. This stylish mindfulness helped deliver a stunning, confident, put-together, and a bit rebellious swagger from our bride and groom.

In the breathtaking scenery of Legacy Yen Tu M’Gallery, Linh and Hiếu shared a tear-jerking (literally) first look. Our groom practically burst into tears the moment he turned around and saw Linh. Later, he said he was actually embarrassed about how hard he cried, but for us, it was truly an unforgettable memory!

Both Linh and Hiếu love the imagery of the moon and wanted to incorporate it into the story behind their destination wedding’s concept. With that in mind, The Planners delivered the moon to their wedding in Yen Tu in different shapes and forms. From crescent moon to half moon to full moon – each state and color of the moon told a different stage of their love story.

With the outdoor wedding ceremony, we wanted a setup that would blend seamlessly with the signature landscape of M’Gallery Yên Tử, highlighting the venue’s unique architecture and its Vietnamese scenery. For that reason, the wedding ceremony’s flower arch was made from rice husk as a nod to Northern Vietnam’s traditions.

Entering the reception area, the guests had a pleasant surprise when the curtains were pulled up – a charismatic reception setup optimizing lights and shades – a visually astonishing atmosphere for a memorable wedding night.

With the image of the moon on the water as its center, the ambient decoration setup generated an intriguing, mysterious yet exciting feeling for the couple, their family and beloved ones.
