“A Hundred-Year Promise” (Kết Duyên Trăm Năm) – was not simply a poetic phrase chosen for Rii & Chi’s wedding day. It was the very thread that wove together their love story, guiding every detail, every emotion, and every vow spoken beneath the Saigon sky.
For The Planners Saigon, accompanying Rii & Chi meant more than orchestrating a celebration. It was about honoring a promise that had long existed in quiet moments and in a belief that love – when true – endures beyond time, beyond form, beyond expectation.
Inspired by the concept of a passage through time, the celebration unfolded like a time-travel narrative. Soft lighting and layered textures created a sense of movement as if stepping into different chapters of a story already written in the heart. Every visual element echoed the central promise: love that transcends years, seasons, and societal boundaries.
At its core, this celebration was deeply personal.
This was not décor for spectacle.
It was storytelling in its most refined form.
Each dinner table was named after a defining personality trait. The floral design was meticulously curated to reflect this individuality. The bespoke ceiling installation was designed around symbolic elements that represented the couple themselves – the images of a sheep and a fox, and the zodiac signs – different in nature, yet perfectly balanced in one unwavering promise. Every corner was curated with intention, forming compositions that mirrored the couple’s stories, shared memories, and emotional symbolism.
As the night came, the afterparty became a true reflection of their spirit – playful and intimate – with a lively pickleball game and a vibrant celebration surrounded by their closest loved ones, perfectly capturing Rii & Chi’s authentic personalities and the joyful ease of their promise.
Rii & Chi’s day reminds us that a hundred-year promise is not about time measured in years: it is about devotion measured in constancy. And in that constancy, love always finds its reflection.
