In the heart of vibrant Saigon, The Planners had the honor of bringing to life a vision that was bold in concept and deeply personal in meaning for Michael and Geneva. This was not just a celebration—it was a story, a memory revisited, and a dream transformed into reality.
At the center of this vision stood a single flower: the delphinium. Ethereal in its stature and striking in its gradient hues of indigo, violet, and soft blue, this flower became the soul of the entire design.
Hundreds of carefully curated delphinium branches transformed the ballroom venue into a surreal floral field. Choosing to focus solely on one type of bloom was a daring move, but it allowed us to explore the full depth of its beauty through thoughtful layering, structured composition, and a meticulous play of color tones. This monochromatic approach brought a sense of poetic harmony to the entire setting of their special day—graceful, understated, yet emotionally powerful.
But beyond the visual impact, the whole concept carried a story. It recalled a treasured moment from Michael and Geneva’s journey together: a canoeing trip on Lake Louise, beneath the expansive Canadian sky. That night, under a canopy of stars and the gentle embrace of the Milky Way, they shared a moment so dreamy, so unforgettable—it deserved to be a tribute to that once-in-a-lifetime moment.
To make the celebration even more personal, The Planners specially curated a Hop-On Hop-Off city bus tour for the couple—a joyful and memorable way for them to explore Saigon with their closest guests, taking in the sights and energy of the city that now holds a chapter of their love story.
Michael and Geneva’s special day wasn’t just designed; it was felt. Every detail—every shade, every petal—was a reflection of their dreamy love story: adventurous, timeless, and uniquely theirs.
