Nga, a consultant at a well known consultancy company and Akshay, an entrepreneur, lived in California wanted a wedding in Vietnam that could reflect their two different backgrounds: Vietnamese and Indian. bythuongtran(*) worked tirelessly throughout the planning process: learning about Hindu traditions in order to prepare even the smallest details for the Vedic ceremony, developing theme colors and many other décor elements, sourcing the best vendors and coordinating with all of them for the four functions that happened within a week Nga and Akshay were in Hanoi.
Eighty guests and two families experienced a warm atmosphere, with a very personal twist of Vietnamese – Indian cultures at the two traditional ceremonies; and a lively, modern American vibe at the reception with fine dining and music.
“I would say that you are very creative and motivated by new challenges e.g., organizing an Indian wedding. You were very diligent with research and able to help us with designing the beautiful mandap and the venue even though it was the first time you did an Indian wedding. You were also very prompt with your replies to my emails which made it easier for me, especially when I had to do the planning from afar. Overall, you had excellent taste in choosing venues, decorations, music band and DJ, photographers, videographers and paid attention to even little details such as the wedding flavor wrapping and the table name cards.”
“Also, both Akshay and I greatly appreciated your tolerance for last minute changes as we know we were scrambling to finalize details just a few hours before the reception. We love watching the video as it helps bring to life the An Hoi and the Vedic Ceremony. Our guests had said again and again that they had an amazing time…so big THANK YOU!”
