Tram & James met us nearly a year before their wedding day. After a quick met with Tram and her parents, we were not quite sure what we should do for Tram’s wedding since Tram’s requirement at the time about the wedding decoration was something that we normally dont get from out brides. She doesnt like flowers and she is not really into any typical wedding that we have done before. Adding to that, we did not have time to meet up and discuss thoroughly since they live in London most of the time. Well, different time zones were not really our problem since we have worked with international clients before but what concerned Linh – the wedding planner of the couple the most was to get to know what she likes and what she expected at the wedding which were definitely not something familiar.

James – her husband was all excited and interested with the Vietnam traditional engagement customs.

Our first challenge was her Ask for the bride ceremony. Tram is an international woman, she was born in Hanoi, Vietnam but has been raised and has lived most of the time in international environment. Even if we think about her from a modern foreigner’s perspective, she is still very unique. During the planning process, she did not give any detail information about what she wants at her events but to send Linh – the wedding planner- some fashion shows, art shows and paintings to describe the vibe that she wants at the events. That makes Linh realized that Tram is really into art. She wants to bring art vibe or art pieces to her important events.

Now, we knew what to do. The concept of her Ask for the bride ceremony was inspired from the her favorite famous paintings Almond Blossoms of Vangogh. Other decorations were designed simple but being no less attached to her will, not flowery but greenery.

Tram wore a deep blue velvet Ao Dai that matched perfectly to the concept of the event.
